Background
- The antibody recognizes a conformational epitope within the Ce3 domain of human IgE spanning towards the amino-terminal part of the Ce4 domain. It blocks the binding of IgE to its high affinity receptor on mast cells and basophils. It is therefore suited as an inhibitory reference compound for mast cell modulator profiling and basic research on IgE mediated mast cell receptor signaling.
